Hi Guys,
A week back my Visitor's VISA to Canada was rejected. Reason for my trip to Canada is two folds-
1) My partner who is 26 yrs old is doing his Masters from Montreal and we thought to get married in Montreal this October. By the way i am 34.
2) I wanted to meet my prospective PhD guide and have discussion related to my PhD application.
Reason for my VISA rejection was quite generic. Officer was not very convinced that I will return back, not convinced about my financial position and Travel History.
This time when I re-applied I made sure I submit the following documents-
1) Letter from my employer stating approval of the leave and the date of resumption of my duties. (Not given when applied for the first time)
2) Letter from my prospective PhD Mentor stating that he is fully sponsoring my boarding, lodging and other expenses and I will be staying with him (his home address given) and clearly stated my duration of stay and 2 reasons for my visit. He also mentioned that I have my ailing parents back home and in no circumstances I will be able to overstay. (Not given when applied for the first time)
3) His financial Assessment Report (Not given when applied for the first time)
4) His tax Bills (Not given when applied for the first time)
5) Copy of Passport (Not given when applied for the first time)
6) Copy of Marriage notice (Not given when applied for the first time)
7) Two way non-refundable air tickets (Return Tickets were not provided)
8) My Letter stating purpose of my trip
9) My bank statement which is not very strong
By the way my Express Entry Profile is active in the pool
Can you guys tell me what are the chances that this time I will not be denied? Going through some anxious days.
