First time to Appy via FSW to Canada

Hi mga kabayan,

We are planning to apply to canad thru FSW . I have read in some forum that the application must be sent directly to CIC canada office, is it true. What are the documents need for this application. Currently we are here in Singapore. How long would it take to recieve a reply that the recieve our documents. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

- After 1st April 2009, all FSW applications are to be sent to CIO, Nova Scotia, Sydney, Canada
- Once they receive the application, they evaluate it on the basis of NOC, duties, and completeness of the forms.
- Once approved (Withing 40-60 days) your file is transfered to local visa office.
- Then you have to submit the documents withing 120 days to support your claims.
- Once verification done, they send you medical, passport submission (Depends upon case to case) RPRF + travel forms.
- Once you submit it, you have to wait for 1-2 months.

Total process time at New Delhi Avg is 5 months for FSW, rest of the local visa offices are also picking up.
