Team,

I am filling the forms for my parents as i got picked up for their PR sponsor for this year quota.

I have a question regarding FULL NAME in this application. In places where they ask First name & Last name its easy and i can fill it as usual. But when i sign the form electronically, they ask for full name. Should i put Last name first and then the first name (or) First name and then last name? Its not clear. Mostly they call me here with last name, first name and drivers licence starts with lastname, First name.

Also nick name asked in IM008. My moms first name and last name are provided in her passport so that's her actual name which is fine. But when i noticed my dads passport my moms name is mentioned as G.X (G is my dads name and then period and then my moms name expanded), should i add this as a nick name in IM008?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks Citizenship.

So basically, sign the form as FIRST NAME, then with LASTNAME right?

Regarding Q2, my mom's passport has both her first and last name, but my dads passport last page refers to SPOUSE NAME as My dads initial (of firstname) and MOMS first name. So thought of adding this to the question in IM008 "Whether you have used any nick names" - Should i do this or just leaeve nick name as empty.

this wont be her nick name in that case ,nor does she use this as a nick name nor its mentioned anywhere in her own documents with a reference saying known by ...,and for sure a proof of the relation between your dad and mom in all cases will be required ,marriage certificate as an example .and here her full name should appear ( im sure its your mom's full name )

Yes, but all the names are in my language and not English. So i am getting an affidavit for my Birth certificate and parents Marriage certificate. Hope Affidavits which are notarized will be accepted. by Canadian immigration. In that case, i dont have to submit the Birth certificate and marraige certificate.

depending on the country that you parents are from, ask more questions ,because you dont want your application returned and to go through the stress of it make sure that its enough
