Hi..me and my husband are Egyptians & I am giving birth in Toronto-Canada, My husband (the father) will not be physically present in Canada while finishing all the papers related to the baby (birth Certificate, and passport ..etc) and at the same time the only official paper that proves we are married is Translated ( not notarized) Marriage Certificate as my passport doesn't mention that I am married to him.
Accordingly, I need Clarification for the following :
1) what are the required documents needed to register a baby born in Canada without the presence of his father?
2) Do I have to notarize my marriage certificate in order to Complete the baby's documents by my self where my husband is listed as his father? and if yes where Can I notarize the marriage certificate?
3) Will I need any signed documents from my husband in order to finish the babies documents without his presence?
