I am a US citizen applying for outland spousal sponsorship. 4 months ago I sent in 2 completed fingerprint cards to the FBI after waiting a month for an appointment with a county sheriff's department to get printed in California. I recently got back a note saying both cards do not have quality prints and that I need to redo them. The note has a case number and a new card attached as well as a request for another processing fee.
I am staying in Canada with my husband long term right now and wrote in my submitted application about what happened with my print cards, the waiting times, scanned proof of my attempts to get a police certificate, etc and that I will send in my police certificate as soon as I get it. The problem now is I am not sure where to get ink prints done in Canada as all of my searches come up with e-printing.
Is there anywhere in the Ottawa area I could get inked prints done on an American FBI card? I would like to get this done and resubmitted quickly as it is the only missing piece of my application despite spending a lot of time and money trying to get a police certificate.
I also want to know how I should mail in the card to the FBI if Canada Post is having a lock down (I had to send my sponsorship application within Canada by courier due to this and it cost more than double than Canada Post would have so I have concerns about that as we are on a tight budget right now)
