Fingerprints Request - How long it Takes

Hey guys

I have received fingerprint request from CIC on my application, which I already submitted. I applied from inside of Canada and have CSQ. I did my masters from Concordia university.

I was wondering if someone else also received that request and how long did it take after fingerprints to receive PR approval?

Today I was reading somewhere on CanadaVisa.com that once they ask you for fingerprints your application becomes non routine and it can take upto 35 months for the process to be completed, this is worrying me a lot.

Can someone please tell if that non-routine thing is true? Any help with the matter will be much appreciated.
