Got fingerprint request... What is best way to give fingerprints.....RCMP..local police or private agencies
We have a local rcmp office...can I just walk into that office and ask them to take fingerprints or do I have to make appointment...
What would be a fast and secure way to give fingerprints...rcmp or private agencies

Private agency is faster, usual 72 hours if you don't have a record for the result.

I have a question because I have no idea about fingerprint.
Why CIC asks applicants for fingerprint? Does CIC ask every applicant or some applicants for this?

You may have a similar profile be it name, age etc to someone with a criminal record and the only way for CIC to make sure they don't have the 'bad guy/gal' on file is to fingerprint.

booked appointment at 10.30 am out with finger print documents at 11.15 am

I did mine at Commissionaires too. Within a week from getting the fingerprints taken, RCMP had already submitted my clear check to CIC.
