Fingerprint request received in citizenship application processing.

Hello Friends,

I received fingerprint request for citizenship application processing.
Any idea how long my application can delayed due to this extra requirement by cic?

Does anyone recently received any fingerprint request for citizenship application?
I applied for citizenship early this year.

I got mine in Dec. 2014. Did FP in jan 2015. Since then nothing...
Mine could be different as I got RQ also in Oct. 2014.

I just got mine on the 6th of July.

I already submitted my fingerprints on the same day and the RCMP told me it was clear and finished on the 7th.

Who knows my friend but I hear its not too much of a delay. The best thing is to do them ASAP.

Good news guys, I called CIC today and they told me that it shows in their system that I did my fingerprints on the 6th and it was received on the 10th

She also told me that she doesn't know what my next step is, if it will be more documents or test date. But, she said they will send a letter asking for that or for test that is my next step

Overall I am happy I don't think I will have residence issues as I never left.

I received the FP request for my citizenship application on 9-Jul-15. Submitted FPs electronically on 13-Jul-15. I wanted to confirm that my FPs have been received by CIC so called CIC call center last week but I was told they are not able to access any application or check any status.

How did you contact CIC? Am I missing anything here?

I was also told by CIC call centre, that they dont have information for fingerprint status and i was infact told to check with fingerprint agency who took my fingerprints.

I dont think that there is any other method to contact CIC apart from call center

I received my FP request back in April, sent it the following week and confirmed CIC's receipt, I haven't heard back from them since then.
Application Sent October 30th and transferred to Mississauga office on March 5th.

It displayed "We sent you correspondence in July. Please respond to it"

and i sent fingerprint details within 3 days when i received the request.
