Fingerprint can be copied and scanned?

Hi guys, I'm collecting my documents,

I already had fingerprint this April (used original copy for paper applicaton), going to upload with my other documents for my ee application.

The question is i only have copied fingerprint paper. Can i just scan it and upload it? Are there any difference between copied and original being scanned? because if they are going to be scanned anyways i think that's same thing...

I don't think they ask for fingerprints in ee application. They will send you a biometrics letter after you submit your application.

Yes, but i read lots of reviews that there are high chance to be asked for fingerprint for those who stayed in canada in longer term. It will help reduce processing time if that's true

I'm not sure what's biometric letters, is that same as finger print? sounds like something new

You will have to go in person and give your biometrics on a machine and your picture taken.

You are confusing biometrics with Fingerprint & RCMP.
You can’t upload fingerprint directly. The fingerprinting agency will send your fingerprint to RCMP, they will do a criminal record search and provide you the report. You need to upload this report with your EE application.
Biometrics is requested only for applicants from some countries, you need to check if you’re required to give biometrics. Use google for links.
