Hello,

Does someone knows that when you travel from USA and lets say to Canada for your PR and you are leaving forever, do you have to give your fingerprints at the US airport or at the US border when leaving? OR just have the passport stamped? What is the procedure for foreign nationals leaving from US.

Thanks,

None - just leave. If you have a W-94 or I-94 you return them before you leave. If you fly the airline will collect them and if you cross by land just hand them over to Canadian IO.

Then just leave and never come back if you so whish

Thanks for your reply and advise, so its when you come back on visit or something when you give fingerprints, I was all confused. Thanks for clarifying that.

My brother in law who lives in Toronto since 2006 got his tourist visa to USA, and he told that every time you cross to US they fingerprint, he said is a common procedure.

yes. coming to US. you have to get finger printed. thats what the procedure is

If you plan to visit the US in the future, you may want to resolve your departure record issue. It is true you do not report to anyone when leaving but surrendering your I-94 is what proofs you have left and without it you may be considered an overstay, which will complicates future applications for US visa. You may be able to get an I-94 replacement if you have lost it.
