Finger Prints?

I applied for my citizenship on march 2012....they started processing my application on OCtober 2012... Today they send me a letter to do Fingerprint.....is this common? It it required for people with criminal records?? Forget criminal records...i never ever received a parking ticket even....then yy???

Not usual. It would appear that someone with the same name and approximate age has a criminal record in Canada, they want to make sure it isn't you. Go to one the approved digital companies, and results in 72 hours.

dolma...can u please mention wut was written on tbe letter? i was wondering whether they send the same generic letter to every1 asking for finger prints or diffrent letters with diffrent reasons
