Hi, I recently came to canada on a study permit.
During studies I can work part time and I want to work with some IT company since I have a previous experience in this field.

However, I don't find any job postings for part-time work in IT. I tried finding it on LinkedIn and Indeed.
Also, when I reach to HRs of certain comapanies asking is the part-time work in IT can be a possibility, I don't get any reply.

I just want to know if someone have already managed to work part time for tech companies?
How should I apporach this?

Thanks in advance! :)

The way to approach this is to continue looking for job postings that are part time. Don't bother reaching out to HR. They won't answer you.

The vast majority of jobs are going to be full time. It's possible you may get lucky and find a part time job. However probably more likely you'll need to take a part time job that us unrelated to your field and wait until you are able to work full time before you can get a job in IT.

Good luck.

Very few IT companies hires part time job. It's more likely for them to hire coops for lighter duty works.

So until you can work full time, the chance of getting an IT job may not be realistic.

If you have some very special skill, may be? (IT means a lot of thing)
