Good morning, my husband is applying for a temporary resident visa for Canada to come and visit me. I was just wondering how much funds should he have in his account to be able to prove to a VO that he will be returning. He is financially dependent on me and I have shown my notice of assessment as well as a job letter from work.
Any help with this, would be amazing. Thanks

If you are applying for a TRV, you need to know that your husband's capabilities is being assessed and not yours. Hard to say a definite amount as it varies. Some were refused even if they have 10K -15K CAD on their accounts. A 4 month statement is required to be submitted as the visa officer needs to see the cash flow of an applicant. You cannot just put a big amount of money in one go as visa officers will suspect that you just placed that money since you need to apply for a TRV.
