Financial support from parents and brothers

Me, my elder brother, and my parents will be supporting the studies and other expenses of my younger brother.

My first question is: What is the right way of declaring this to CIC and what documents need to be attached to strengthen our application? Please note that I haven't submitted the application yet.

My second question is: My younger brother (the applicant) will not be staying at hostel or university accomodation. Instead, he will be staying with family. Do we still need to show $10,000 on top of tuition fee in financial proof documents?

Provide bank statements for those who will be supporting your younger brother and affidavits confirming your support.

Yes - you still need to show the $10K for living expenses on top of tuition fees.
