Financial requirements for PR

Hi,

Could someone clarify what are the necessary proofs that we have to show from the bank for PR application ? Is there a minimum balance that we have to maintain in the bank ? If so , for how many months ?

I do not believe cic checks bank accounts. THey as for 2 years of T4 and NOA.

I requested for a copy of our bank statement but the visa officer at the border didnt't even bother to asked for it.

CBSA officer wont ask you for Bank statement because there is no requirement for financial proof to acquire PR under CEC.

No Proof of funds are needed for CEC PR application ,But while landing CBSA (Canadian Border Service Agency , Iguess ;D ) may or may not ask the Bank Statements.
