Financial Form IMM1283 applies to me or no?

Hello,

I am a Canadian Citizen, and i am applying for spousal sponsorship. We have a kid together who was born in Canada so my kid is a Canadian Citizen by birth. This is confusing to me as to i would think my kid is our dependent correct? so based on this, will i need to fill this form? or if this form is applicable to us?

Canadian citizen is not eligible to be issued PR visa or be sponsored.......Canadian citizen dependent child cannot be included in the sponsorship application as a dependent, however, any Canadian citizen dependent must be included ONLY in IMM5406 form.

In the form.....the number of persons in the sponsorship application excludes any Canadian citizen dependent child.
