Finally landed

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let you know that we (family of 4) landed on April 23th on the Vancouver Int. Airport. From the readings I did on this side I expected alot more at the immigration. However the only documents we were requested to show were our passports and the COPR. None of the other documents i.e. marriage certificate, birthcertificates etc etc...not even the proof of funds. Dont know if it was because of the Canucks game that night..LOL..but the whole procedure didnt take more then 20 min. Took us longer getting from out of the plane, walking to the security and collecting our baggage.

We applied in Jan05 at the CA embassy in Berlin. We got the approval letter in Oct06.
