Where did you fly from, India?

Was it a direct flight? Do we need any transit visas if there are stopovers in London or Brussels or Frankfurt

Dear Friend

My SIster in law traveled a day before in Jet Airways IGI Delhi Airport to Brussel but do not require any transit visa its a direct flight to Toronto.. but they just stoped for an hour to brussel..

I was wondering what documents did you bring with you when you went to immigration?

U would need a transit visa only if u have a stop over in US. They normally ask fr a US transit visa!

Thanks and yes I flied from Ahmedabad (India)

It was Jet airways via Brussels. It had two hours stop at Brussels but I didn't need transit visa. Actually Brussels is quite pleasant place and it was relaxed two hours stay there.

Btw if you travel via US and if you have to change the airport then you will need transit visa and better not to go for such journey. Via London we don't need T.visa but if stay there is overnight then I was informed that we need T.visa.

At Immigration office at Toronto, they asked to show them Passport, Letter from CHC when we received visa, Landing card (we have to fill the form which we receive inside flight), Offer letter from College and fee receipt.

At Brussels airport our hand luggage is again checked but not to worry its quite legal activity they perform and they behave very politely.

If anyone wants to contact at India while in Brussels then need to keep 5 Euros atleast so that public phones can be used.

hows ur living situation ru in a motel or at a friends place? did u find an apartment ? Toronto is kinda expensive to live
