finally arrived in toronto, just a day before my copr expires
booked the ticket in the morning, checked in at ohare and here i come toronto.
no dramas like america at the poe, pretty chill. No questions were asked
IO was pretty chill, took me a minute to get docs and was chatting with her for almost 10 mins
about US and stuff....never felt like it was an IO.
The most positive experience i had with IO in years.
Did not get the SIN right away, had to go to service canada to get one and then to service ontario for a provincial ID
i will receive within 2 weeks.
Had a good time and people were very positive, no drama like US.
People were absolutely helpful.
The most multicultural city in the world, i came from chicago to toronto & was very similar.
Toronto has a european feel so felt very good, different experience
Could not resist it but had to go to Tim Hortons and drink about 5 coffes in 2 days
People who want to have a good life and family should come to Canada, very peaceful.
I compare it with US coz i lived there in chicago for 11 yrs.
for currency exchange go to TD bank gave me a good rate for USD.
Minorities are well respected. Its a good place if you are not after making millions of dollars, unlike the big brother next door.
I will keep posting more info as i experience things.
i must admit, i like Canada, but i love the US.
