My wife is applying for PR in Canada as a Korean. We are in Canada now. Almost finished the application process. Got this email recently:
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa.
STEP 1: CHANGE IN CIRCUMSTANCES:
Should any of the following circumstances apply to you or any accompanying family member, you must inform this office immediately
My question is: How do we inform them of a change in telephone number? The e-mail only stresses how critical it is to update them, but fails to give instructions on how to do so. Do we e-mail them, phone them, include it in the letter we send to Ottawa with copies of her passport, etc., or do it online? (can only find where to update a mailing address on the CIC website, not a phone number.)
Thank-you!
