Final PPR. Passport was not sent on time. What happens next?

Hi everyone,
The situation is:
IRCC sent two PPR. Final was on June 22. The letter states that I have 30 days to apply. Passport was sent on July 25 which is past due. IRCC agent says that application could be rejected any time, however, if is still open.
Does anyone have knowledge/experience?

just tell them it went into your spam and you realized it late, they will give you an extension. remember you cleared all eligibility and criminality so i dont think they will reject just because passport is delayed.
