filling up the family information form (IMM 5645E) for visitor visa

I have a question regarding filling up the family information form (IMM 5645E) for visitor visa. My mother is a widow and the principal applicant. Should she still list my late father's name in the spouse section in this form and in his present address indicateing he is deceased?

Or should she not list him?

Deceased.

Not filling would mean she is omitting the information "for an unknown reason".

I think it will not cost you anything if you just write your "late father's name" with note that says he died on this time of the year.
I was the principle applicant and I wrote in the father section that he died on this time of this year and I have already got my visa.
