Filling out forms for CEC- Clarifications required ( more clarifications)

Hello,

Regarding the the Schedule 8 form ( Experience class) , I have the following questions:

1) I have completed 2.4 years in Canada in the current position/current employer..before that I was in India for 4 months ( working as a consultant) and before that I was in USA for 5 years...but in this form question number 9 : Your Experience in Canada : Is this specific only Canadian experience ? Or Includes all exp for the past 3 years..My question is : Do I need to provide only the Canadian exp alone ( 2.4 years) DO I need to provide the past three years which Includes India and USA exp. ...Did anyone have similar work exp? how did you handle this?

2)Not able to list all the main duties in the given space...what should we do? -->Just provide a brief important ones since the employer letter lists all the duties

3) Not able to print the employer name completely : Can I fill this form half print and half hand written? So, I can write the employer name in the second line completely.

I had the same thing: I listed only my two years of Canadian experience. Prior to that I was working in the US, and I even got the reference letters from my two US employers, but after reading the instructions I decided to not include them, and only listed Canadian.

As for the other questions, you could add an appendix sheet listing the items that would not fit on the main form. Just reference the question/item number for each item.

Thanks both of you...to my question #2 , Just list the important duties , since there are 3 lines.and rest will be covered in the employer...letter..Do you agree?

regarding the non-Canadian exp : Do we need to provide non-Canadian experience ? I am little confused , the checklist asks for last 3 years data....thx...

If it's Item 9, I read it literally: Your Work Experience in Canada

For me it's just the one employer here in Canada.

List only the Canadian experience in the last 03 years coz what CIC wants is - if you have the necessary 24 months or 12 months of Canadian work experience (as the case may be) in the last 36 months or not.

#2, you got it right. List only the important ones in the 03 lines. Rest will be covered in the Employer letter.

#2) a professional immigration consultant highly recomended me to add an extra sheet to describe my duties a detailed as possible, CIC is suppose to be very picky on this.

AGREE. In case the Employer letter does not detail your duties, you will have to add an extra sheet and describe the same at length.
