My wife just received a letter from the CIC of her approval for PR. She has been residing with me in Ontario since January from the USA, and has not gone beyond her 6 month travel visa, with the exception of a few visits back to the USA during this time.
She has, throughout the back-and-forth brought most of her personal effects (clothing, shoes, some books, computer, etc). She intends to bring over her car and a few other items in a short while.
We are traveling to Mexico shortly with the intention of her landing upon our return. What items should she be putting on the various different Personal Affects declaration forms, if her stuff is already here in Canada, and we are returning from Mexico with only vacation clothing?
Would it be easier to go to downtown Toronto to land with all her personal items listed on the form?
