Everything I have read indicates to not leave any sections blank and if a question doesn't apply to you to mark in a N/A.
However, when filling out the PDFs on the computer, selecting certain answers makes some boxes ineligible to fill in.
As an example:
Filling out IMM 1344, Application to Sponsor. Question 2 under Sponsor Personal Details asks "Have you ever used any other name?" If I select "No" then the Family Name(s) and Given Name(s) boxes no longer are valid fields and I can't put anything in them. This makes perfect sense to me, but should I handwrite in "N/A" after printing the form just to be safe?
The form successfully validates and generates a bar code so I assume that is used for data entry -- does that mean anything I handwrite on the form is pretty much ignored anyway? (Other than the signatures, of course!)
Given how long it takes to process an application I sure don't want to mess it up and have to do it again!
