Filling IMM 5406 by spouse

Hi
I am going to add my wife to my application. my wife need to fill the IMM5406 (additional family information) form. I am just confused about section A.
who will be the applicant in this case (is that me or she because I am the principal applicant). the father and mother's name should be her father and mother, right?

If you are the principal applicant, you add your name. Add your wife's name under Spouse or Common Law. As you are the principal applicant, you add your mother and father's name.

thanks for your help. but in the instruction it is said that both me and and my wife need to fill this form.
when I am filling the form I am doing the same as you suggest (thanks again). but when my wife is going to fill this form what she gonna do?

Just fill out this form as if she is the principal applicant. Yes, her mother and father and brothers and sisters. I know it is confusing but these forms are generic. It will clearly show on the Application for Permanent Residence that YOU are the principal applicant. You must include her in this form as well as your dependent spouse. Also, she will have to complete a Schedule 1/Background Declaration where she can indicate that she is the dependant spouse. Don't worry, CIC will match it all up.
