Filipino studying in Singapore plans to transfer to Canada

My son is a freshman taking up BFA Digital Arts and Animation in Digipen Singapore. We plan to transfer him to Maxx the Mutt Canada.
What are the requirements for applying as int'l student in Canada?
Is it difficult to apply for a student visa?
They say students are obliged to come back to their home country after completion of their studies, how true? Are they not allowed to look for a job after graduation?
Anybody heard of Maxx the Mutt Canada?

1. Animation school.

3. It is true, students are in Canada to study and the go home. It is possible to work after graduation on a Post Grad. Work Permit, but Maxx isn't a degree granting institution, so not eligible for a work permit after graduation
