I am in the US and applied for PCC in early July, it will take about 3 months to get the PCC. A lawyer told me that I can file the application with a proof that I have applied for PCC, is that true?

.. but u can submit that without PCC ... with proof .. that shouldn't be a problem .. but this may delay ur case .. ur call Are you sure that we can file without the PCC, i thought after the June 26th changes all the documents are supposed to be submitted at the time of filing.

i might have misunderstood... are u submitting full documents to VO or is this ur initial application to CIO ? in case of initial application after 26th june u might have to get the PCC ... but i have seen in this forum that some mentioned it's not required at CIO stage .. check the may 2010 thread .. i believe it was mentioned there ..
