Hi guys,
Me and my partner filled for CEC PR together, with me as the principal applicant. He is now in his home country while I remain in Canada, as his work permit expired. We applied as common law partners. My question is for tax season should we still file our taxes as common law even though he is living out of Canada for over 10 months now? Thank you. I don't want any confusion on our pr application.

Hi

Yes, you are still common-law.
