File under review? What does that mean?

Hi,
I received PPR but had a baby, so I advised the department by replying to the email and submitted all the necessary documents along with the relevant forms they asked for.

I can see that the dependant has been added but I have been told that "The file is currently with a migration officer to review and our office will be in further contact with you".

My question is, what does it mean that the file is under review?

Has anyone experienced this before?

Thank you

You're welcome. It's totally normal. Give it some time.
The reason for my concern is also because there were 2 secondary details which incorrect in the birth certificate of my newborn, which was a mistake from the registry.
For example, the birth certificate mentions the names of previous children, and my first child's name was misspelled. Second, my occupation was incorrectly mentioned.

I had provided a detailed letter of explanation and attached certified government documents which mention my correct job title, in addition to all the employment documents I had submitted in the initial stage of the application.

Secondly, I had submitted certified copies of my first child's birth certificate.
Everything else in the birth certificate was accurate.

I have applied for an updated birth certificate but yet to receive it, so I am kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I have not misrepresented, and this mistake was not on my part but I hope I do not have to carry the consequences.

No, you have nothing to worry about. Misrepresentation is only when you do something purposely that you stand to benefit from.

Once you get the new certificate, provide it with an LOE and all should go well. No reasons for concern here.
