I am just wondering if there is anyone here that has experienced a file transfer from Vegreville that sent supporting documentation in without a request. About a week after my husband's file transfer, I sent some supporting documents in with regard to the relationship as our courtship was short, our marriage was quick and we don't have any legal, medical, or dependent children that causes any other red flags. I ordered the FOSS notes immediately but I imagine they will take a month at least for us to get them. We received an email stating the file was transferred October 1. I sent a letter to Hamilton and supporting documents including emails from when the relationship started and continuous emails to this day, proof of my married name change (all identification including health card, driver's license, benefits card, visa card), copy of joint bank account details and cheques showing both of our names and address, auto insurance details including name change and adding my spouse to the policy, a job offer to my husband from April, my husband's driver's license upgrade from G to AZ showing address etc., letters from relatives, friends and coworkers about genuineness of the relationship and what they have witnessed from the beginning, wedding cards from both sets of parents and a card signed by 30 staff at my work congratulating the two of us, more pictures since the marriage of his brother's visit here, a Niagara Falls visit and pictures out for dinner with my family. When I sent the letter and supporting documents I sent it registered along with a copy of the letter to Vegreville which indicated that these documents were sent to Hamilton. I contacted CIC a few times and they told me the file was in transit. The file finally reached the Hamilton destination October 18. I have since had my Will changed, received an updated Option C, gathered several more supportive letters from friends, family and neighbours, had my husband changed to primary beneficiary on my work insurance and found more emails I hadn't sent the last time.
Just wondering if I should send these along or just wait until they contact us, if at all. I am Canadian, my husband Australian, both born and raised. We are the same age. We met each other online last October. I went to Australia to meet him last year at Christmas time where we became engaged. He followed me back to Canada for a visit in late January. We married in February. I filed for sponsorship in March and we have lived together since he arrived here in January. We have had no requests for additional documents.
