File transferred

Dear Friends
I got an online status update June 8 that f"ile transferred to mississauga office on June 5 and they will contact you". What does this mean as the file getting transferred to different locations. If this is good, based on your experience can you tell when can I expect the test date?

This is normal, once your application is screened for correctness and completeness of all documents by the Sydney office, it gets transferred to your local office for further processing.

I suggest you spend some time reading and exploring the other threads in this forum and that will give you an idea of the application process and processing timeline for your local office Mississauga.

I believe there is a thread specific to the Mississauga office.

I thought they did background and clearance checks in Sydney before they transferred the file.

So do they do two background and clearance checks or just one after the file is transferred?
