I have the Ontario PNP certificate under PhD category.
My PR application was received by CIC-Buffalo on Oct/13/2011. Today I got an email from OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca. It says that:
"Your application is part of a group of files that has been transferred from the Buffalo visa office to the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (“CPP-O”) office to speed up the creation and processing of your application. All enquiries and correspondence must be addressed to the CPP-O office, unless directed otherwise."
I also received the medical form and two other instruction sheets. I am asked to send the medicals within 60 days from today to avoid unnecessary delays in processing. Here I have a situation as mentioned below.
I was employed in New York, USA when I sent the PR application to CIC-Buffalo. Due to sudden change in plans (personal reasons), I moved back to my home country i.e. India. In all of my PR applications that I have submitted I have USA residential address. The same address is on the medical form as well that I received today. Am I supposed to get the medicals done from one of the designated doctors in USA or I can do the medicals in India?
My employment status and marital status are also going to change soon and I intend to spend another 1 year in India. How does this change going to affect my PR processing timeline? Do you think my file will again be transferred to India?
Please advice/suggest/share if you can. Your help/answer is much appreciated.
Best Regards,
Frontenacs
