file nurmber

Hello all,

I would like to know how do I find out my file number. Do they have to sent it? I sent my documents on 14th Jan. and still obviously have no answer. Do I have to wait until to have news from them, because I´d like to check in the cic web page my status.

And I would like to have this file number to send the IELTS results, because I sent the academic and not the general, :-(

First of all, you send your IELTS immediately and use your full name, date of birth, your passport details, in a simple letter. Send this letter now.

For your file number, it will take sometime around 8-12 weeks before you hear from the CIO.
