File number to extend my work permit?

hi guys,

I was a post-secondary student who graduated a few years ago and stayed in Canada with the post-secondary work-permit.
I have applied my PR application under AINP, and just recently receive a mail saying they have received the file.
However my work-permit is expiring soon, and i need to renew it.
I understand that i will need a filenumber issued in Sydney, NS to extend my work-permit,
That being said, the mail i received only have a UCI number and Applicaiton number, and there is no file number attached.

I have searched online and someone here have said application = file number, and i can use that to extend my work permit?

Perhaps you are thinking of the bridge open work permit given to those already nominated,You give them a copy of your nomination and file number you got when you submitted to Sydney NS.But you have not been nominated yet by AINP,So this is not an option for you Sorry

Yes, im refering to the bridge program.

i have already got nominated. i applied my PR using my AINP.
but i dont have the file number? or i can just use the application i received?
all i got is a mail with my UCI and application number saying they have received my payment and my application is consider complete and under process.


I apologise if im not being clear. like i sad im pretty panicking. haha.

because from what i read here

Make sure that when you apply for the Bridging Open Work Permit, that you:

Include a copy of your AINP nomination when you apply.
Include a copy of your Acknowledgement of Receipt from IRCC with your IRCC file number.
Select “Open Work Permit” on the IRCC application form to extend your work permit where it asks “What type of work permit are you applying for?”
Pay all fees, including the additional $100 fee for an open work permit.

i need a file number

i have everything else, though.
