File is transferred to Vancouver office

Inland Applicant. We've received OWP, biometrics, medical, and SA. We just got notice that the file has been transferred to the local office for further assessment.

If anyone has been in the situation, what was the outcome? Is that bad news?

After we got notice of transfer to local office (Etobicoke) we were placed in queue for Virtual landing interview. They emailed us requesting email address a week later. Once provided, the next day they sent a link to Confirmation Portal and had to submit PR card photo, declare in Canada, and confirm address (this was a Fri) and Mon got COPR online. Hope the same happens for you.

Hi! Do you have updates of your application? Just the other day my file for spousal sponsorship has been transferred to Calgary VO for further assessment. I am so worried. I am done with biometrics, medical etc and suddenly they transferred it to local VO for further assessment. I hope you can share your update. Thank you!

No need to post the same question on multiple threads and months or years old threads aren't likely to get quick responses. However I wouldn't worry about the transfer. I am pretty sure it's a standard part of the process.
