I just have a few questions with regards to my situation.
I am a Canadian citizen and my fiancee and soon to be wife is currently a Pakistani citizen and Green Card holder in the United States, also residing in the United States. We will be getting married this November (in the United States), and she will be moving to Canada to live with me. She will also be filing her application to become an American Citizen in October. After the wedding in November, we plan to live in Canada.
I have a few questions around this:
1) Can my (then wife) and I cross the border together as a married couple? What are we supposed to tell Cdn Border Agents?
2) Can I sponsor and apply for her Work Permit and PR as her U.S Citizen application is still processing?
3) Will she have to surrender her Pakistani Citizenship once I file for her Work Permit and PR? Are you allowed to have more than 2 Citizenship's? Technically if both process she could become an Canadian, American and Pakistani Citizen.
4) If her interview date for her U.S citizenship comes up prior to the time her Work Permit is approved, can she travel back to U.S for it and comeback to Canada?
