Fiance has TRV, will get married in October.

Good Afternoon,

I am currently engaged to my Fiance (She is Egyptian, I am a Canadian Citizen). She currently has a valid multiple entry TRV.
We will be getting married in October (Egypt).

I am quite confused about the best course of action?

Can we return to Canada after the wedding and she enters using her TRV, then we apply for an Inland Application and she can receive implied status?

Or can we start an outland application and she comes to stay with me for 6 months portions using her TRV while the Outland Sponsorship is processed?

Are there any better options I am unaware of?

Inland application takes 27month and outland (vo is Egypt) takes 20 months according to CIC website.

it would be you and your wife choice to apply inland or outland.

1. Inland- She will be implied status until you have OWP ( if she apply OWP with pr application)

2. she can enter Canada while outland app is processing (just show CBSA proofs that you applied sponsorship and your marriage certificate etc)
She can renew her visitor visa online/ offline before it is expired (mention that she applied outland and want to stay with you (husband)and wait for PR in Canada )
she would get a year or more (I got a year).

don't know much about inland application processing etc, so hope other members would answer you.
