I am just waiting for my fiance to come to Canada for a 6 month visit, from St.Lucia.
He is a very skilled Carpenter that has worked for the past 25 years in the buisness and is self employed. He will be wanting to stay in Canada once we are married and will have a job guaranteed to him if he can get the correct paperwork completed. If he wishes can he stay here under visitor status and apply for a work permit from Canada during the 6 months ?
