Hi, I'm planning to apply for Super visa for my mom and have few questions, hoping to get some help here.
  1. My mother used to run a grocery shop few years ago but now she's fully a homemaker. Me and my sister take care of her finances. How can I write my letter of invitation so that her situation doesn't impact the super visa negatively. I kinda have my letter invitation ready but I need to explain to CIC that she's willing to go back after a year or something. For this, I'm not sure how can I prove her strong ties to India.
  2. Another question is regarding the health insurance. CIC says we can submit proof of purchase of health insurance for which I have paid fully or in installments. As we Canadian health insurance is very expensive, I'm considering to go with installments option but how many months do I have to pay for to be on safe side?

Thank you everyone in advance!

Didn't you apply the super visa a year ago? Btw, she can now buy the super visa health insurance in India if the provider meet certain requirements.

No, I wanted to but I have never applied. I tried to use OSFI website to find Canada approved health insurance companies, but I couldn't find anything in India. How can I search for Indian companies? Do you know any?

I got my in-law's super visa approved after 2 visitor visas and 1 super visa refusals in the past. I used this template for the invitation letter for the approved application, if it helps you. Key is explaining parents ties with India - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TdainD08Wldzgb_t-WqEzrQZ7HoDel3O/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=100010915071435543836&rtpof=true&sd=true

Also, for super visa insurance, IRCC simply says that quotes are not accepted. If you have installments running and then a letter of explanation, I guess you are good.

Although it technically says you can pay in instalments we have seen many get denied if they don’t pay for the full year.

Not sure about the first question, but we bought my MIL’s health insurance on installments. Didn’t had any issue and her visa was approved in 15 days
