Hello! I am planning on applying for PR soon via EE and will most likely be receiving a job offer from my boss, however, I am not sure if my job offer requires a LMIA. I've looked online and I cannot tell if I require a LMIA for my job offer or not. I have been working at the job for just over a year now (NOC B - 6322), and my boss would like to give me a job offer. I am currently on a post-graduation work permit. My questions are:

1. If I apply under EE and post a job offer from my boss, can it be without a LMIA?
2. If I do require a LMIA, how long will the process take before the job offer is approved and I can apply for EE?

Thank you so much!

Since you are on PGWP, your "job offer" certainly doesn't meet the requirement.
1. No,
2. Your employer needs to apply for LMIA if he's willing to put in the money and effort for you, which is not a quick process. And you need to move to a closed work permit

1. No. You need an LMIA.
2. I would count on 3-6 months (including the 1 month of advertising your employer must do before applying for the LMIA).
