Hi All,
I had a few queries regarding filling the application forms, please advise
1. I believe the forms where it is mentioned ... in Canada e.g. CEc work experience, I do not need to provide all 3 years details if I was not in Canada for the last 3 years.
2. I am married, so I should not fill the Statutory Declaration and Common-Law Union (IMM 5409) form.
3. Doesn't CIC take the email address for easy communication, say in case we change the rented house?
Thanks.

1) You need to provide all 3 years details although not in canada
2) You dont have to fill this
3).You can update change of address if any after you receive the AOR

Thanks crama123.
I did not expect the answer you gave for point 1.
Any one else has an idea on question no. 1?
Thanks in advance.

CEC is concerned only with work experience in Canada. If you have not worked for up to 3 yrs in Canada, then provide reference letters for the years you have worked. You only need to have at least 1 year of skilled full-time work to qualify.

It's up to you whether you want to provide an email address or not. If you do, then CIC will contact you via email. If you don't, they will correspond via your mailing address.

I agree with SenoritaBella. I applied for PR based on 12 months of CANADIAN work experience and didn't bother to provide any details of the work experience outside of Canada. I think CIC requires documentation only for your CANADIAN work-ex.
