HI guys:
I sent my application at 22 DEC 2009 by FEdex company, til now it's in Int'l shipment release MIRABEL, PQ. It's 7 days now though the officer here in Saudi Arabia told me will take 3 days max. I need to know what the problem is with company?? Is it because of holidays in Canada or what??
I am so frustrated guys
help me plz

Fedex worldwide is the same,they will tell you three day shipping but will end up taking 7 days for shipment delivery.
The little delay with your package is as a result of the holiday.
If your package is at Mirable,PQ today,it means that it will be delivered on 31-12-2009.

if you check on your receipt of fedex .. their must be one number ( tracking number ) just go to www.fedex.com put that number to track .then you can see delivery date..
let me know if you find any difficulties to trace....i will do my best to explain in brief..

I have that number, and i am tracking the shipment every 2 mins..
but til now it's in MIRABEL, PQ since 24\DEC......and i sent it at 22 DEC

This is how your package will move-delay is because of holiday.
29-12-09-Mirable PQ
30-12-09-Dieppe
31-12-09-Sydney-Delivery.

I don't think it matters whether it is a holiday period or not. I work in shipping and I know for a fact that Fedex is closed on Dec. 24th and Dec. 31st. In addition, they don't actually move anything but express mail on week ends. There is a good chance your application has been received. You can visit their website and track your package @ www dot fedex dot com. It will show you your package progress.

When I submitted mine, I did it with the fastest option called International Priority and it got to destination in 5 days. Depending on the country and how well it is covered by airlines, it could be faster.

Sorry... I would like to correct a mistake. Fedex is closed Dec. 24th and Dec. 31st at night. This means during the day, normal delivery procedures occur, but there is no pick ups. And given that Christmas and New Year's Day fall on a Friday, nothing happens until the next Monday. But the tracking should allow you to know where your package is and, if delivered, who signed for it.

it could be a tom hanks situation ie castaway!!! you're PR application could be floating somewhere in the south pacific!!! only joking dude. you'll be ok. the holidays will delay it. fed ex are pretty good as long as hanks isn't on the plane

Fedex they will always say 3 days until you tell them the destination post code. It takes 7 days from Saudi Arabia to Nova Scotia for Fedex international shipment.

hi Lauay,
think u have been caught in the trap of holydays. coz 24-27 Dec. Christmas holidays, 31 Dec.-03 jan new year and weekly holydays. So don't worry. it will reach by 4/5 January.
