Which I actually find really stupid. I've been in Canada two years now and applied before some others who are done already (not just in this forum). Why not give equal status to everyone?! My work permit is expiring at the start of January and I'm heading home in 3 weeks, all because Canadian Immigration are taking their sweet time. If a PEQ applicant can be processed quickly then so can QSWs, especially those of us who've been in Canada for a while!Joshua1 said:The latest ones who just got their PPR confirm the following for me: General QSW and PEQ are in different queues; security checks (police certificates from abroad) take a big chunk of the time and is the key factor for the pace of processing.
I disagree, i am a peq applicant, i applied february 2013 and my status is still application received.Joshua1 said:The latest ones who just got their PPR confirm the following for me: General QSW and PEQ are in different queues; security checks (police certificates from abroad) take a big chunk of the time and is the key factor for the pace of processing.

Plus i think you are married to a Canadian if i'm not wrong ... so all of that can explain your fast processingeurmione said:
I have been living in Canada for 10.5 years. I dont have to do any security check anywhere but Canada itself. I didn't even send a police certificate. Maybe that's why my application is fast. Imagine, I spent 10.5 years of frustrating and money.... A lot of money for my school fee and documents. I'm an expert in study permit and work permit for international student now >.< (and this is not cool). I wish you luck though. Everyone has their own faith (I believe in destiny).
