You need to have 67 points total. There is no clear rule like "if you have less you fail, if you have more you pass". They suggest that anyone with less than 67 points should not apply at the moment and anyone with 67 or more has chances of getting the visa.

some retake their IELTS exam to somewhat meet the required points.

I have some cofusion with my application. In past i was refused in Newzeland immigartion due to some low score of IELTS.Now should i show it in canada FSW file.and is it give nagative evaluation of my application?

In my humble opinion, I will not show that IELTS results if I believe in my guts feeling that it may cause me a rejection on my application. Better to review more and prepare to take another IELTS exam for improvement. :)

Hello,

first of all keep in mind that IELTS scores are valid for 2 years. so check if they are valid first!
secondly, to immigrate to Canada under the fsw you need to send an IELTS score-sheet. Also, you cannot be rejected because of IELTS, it is just that if the scores are not very high, you will not get all the point possible in the language section

You have no choice. IELTS is mandatory. If you do not include IELTS in your FSW application, you will be automatically rejected.

Hey Mr. confusion stop suggesting people . if any one scores less then 67 rejection must [ read all post in this forum ] , try to score 67 or more . I would suggest to score atleast 67 then apply .

Very well said. ;D Less than 67 points is an outright rejection. Sometimes incorrect suggestion is dangerous.
