Hello everyone,
I hope that anyone who has knowledge in this can help me. I am currently doing my Master's in Ottawa. The only thing that is not letting me apply to FSW program is the work experience. In my experience letter that I submitted to the Canadian embassy for my study permit, it stated that I worked for company X and neither confirmed nor denied that the work was paid (the work was not paid). The experience letter only mentioned that I work for company X as position Y. No mention of salary. Now, I am being tempted to get an experience letter from the same company stating that my job was paid. This would skyrocket my CRS score and I would be eligible for immigration directly after I graduate. What do you think?

Please help a confused guy!

Hi,
In my previous organization, i have experience of 6.5 years out of which I was in Canada for 1 year. Now how do I claim Canadian experience for that 1 year and non-Canadian experience for remaining 5 years? I was thinking to put it like, ABC being employer name
Exp 1: <ABC> Nov 2013-Apr 2018 India
Exp 2: <ABC> Apr 2018-May 2019 Canada
Exp 3: <ABC> June 2019- Feb 2020 India

And I can get two different experience letter for time in India and in Canada. Will that work?

They don’t check. I know a few people who misrepresented Foreign work experience and nothing happened. They just put fear and claim they investigate when they don’t. Those guys don’t have the time or resource to verify FWE.

However, it’s just best to do it the honest way for your peace of mind.
