Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi - all you experts - I have applied for the Federal Skiller Worker program and have received my AOR this month. I am scheduled for an IELTS next month here in San Francisco.

Now, I have received a job offer from a Canadian company - what should I do next? Does the company have to entertain any formalities for me to leverage the Provincial Nomination process? I am not sure how participative this company will be - but does it have to do anything more than giving me the offer letter and having legla presence and company officers?

Should I amend my application with this info to leverage the Provincial Nomination program?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

You can always go through with the Federal Skilled Worker Program till the end. How long is this company willing to have you on board? - that is the question.

This Canadian company can always complete an LMO (Labor Market Opinion) now on your behalf - depending whether your job type requires an LMO - in order for you to be issued a work permit, and then you will have to apply for a TRV (temporary resident visa) with your work permit. This route is better as you get to work in Canada while you await your FSW applilcation to go through. Your FSW app. should be complete in approximately 24 -31 months from the date of your AOR (check the processing times on CIC).

More so, later on in the process, if your employer is willing to file an AEO (Arranged Employment Opinion) on your behalf, you can then use this to waive the proof of funds requirement. And even if the employer might not be willing to do an AEO, you would have had enough time to prepare yourself financially. So, there's nothing to loose.
