I know my co-worker who also filed his PR during month of Feb, 2014 got decision made on Tuesday night (Jan 13,2015). So, I'm guessing finally CIC has woken up and our files are moving.

I have work permit valid till September. Is this safe to go back to India at this point. I will come back asap when they will ask for my passport. Plz help me friends. I am worried. I packed everything and booked my ticket now someone told me it's not safe to go back to India. When ur file is in process. Thanks

Hi Japy77, Don't let someone or pnp come in between your family and important occasions. Just take the trip and attend the wedding.
Many of us have just waited for months, years or even more. CiC will anyway give you enough time to submit passport should PPR arrive. Ensure you comply with the 'legal status of the current visa'

Dont worry, go ahead and enjoy your sister's wedding. Everything will be fine. Make sure you have entry visa for your return. They wont let you in with your work permit itself.
