FBI validity after paper application sent to cic

Hey guys,

Need your help. I sent my application to cic on Jan 3. I did not send my FBI certificate with my application, however I sent out my Indian PCC along with a note stating FBI would be submitted soon as its received. Now, I have been waiting to receive my AOR (which I did on Mar 7) to get my case number prior to mailing. Does anyone know when does the clock start ticking on FBI validity since I had already applied and where to send it now? I am in dilemma whether to wait for them to ask or send it, but not sure where as I am not sure where my file has been transferred.

I have looked at my GCMS notes after I sent FBI reports, in the notes it seems like they give 2 years of validity on my report.

Thanks for your feedback. I sent an email to my VO (Ottawa) and they asked me to just scan and email them a copy. I did however confirm if I need to mail them the originals, but the email stated the scanned copies via email should suffice. The officer would contact me if he needs the actuals. Thoughts?

Electronic copy is good enough, I sent through Case specific enquiry, and they accept that.

SHould it be via case sepcific enquiry or the Ottawa email? My file is already received at Ottawa.
