Hei guys... Here we are, preparing to submitting our docs (post ITA) when I realized that my husband has been several times to the US due to work. He has always had B1/B2 visa. If I add all the times he went to the US after 18 years of age, that certainly adds up to more than 180 days.

Do we need an FBI PCC in this situation? I am quite desperate, since I check processing times are over 90 days.

In theory, based on the travel history we will submit, it is less than 180 days. But because he travels a lot, his travel history goes back only 7 years (filled all 30 entries with that). If they request additional information on the 10 year history, it will be more than 180 days, spread within 18 entries in the country. All of the stays lasted less than one month.

Any clue on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance!!

Yes, it is required for him.
That's terrible news!

Do you know if we can submit our docs without that? Perhaps adding a LOE saying we have ordered, though it does not seem to me from what I have read that they provide you any confirmation of order processing.

They won't request it, this will most likely be refused as incomplete.

You have to provide 10 years; the instructions tell you to use an extra sheet if necessary.

It's a common problem; how much time do you have before your deadline to submit?

First, apply for the PCC, keep copies (scans) of everything, and use a courier (e.g. Fedex) with delivery confirmation.

If you have to apply without it, you will need not just a letter of explanation, but also proof that you actually have applied, and an estimated date that you will be able to submit it (based on FBI times).

Do not apply without it, if you are running out of time follow jes' advice.

Take fingerprints and submit the request immediately. You can get it in 50 - 60 days. If possible, give an US address for communication. I applied for FBI PCC just one week before my ITA and I had it in 45 days or so.

If you don't get anything by last day of your deadline, submit your application with postal receipts and proof of delivery.

Thats right. FBI has speed up the process now. One can expect the PCC within 50-60 days.

Thanks, everyone. I got my ITA on the last draw, so I still have 84 days left to send everything.
